Domodedovo international airport presented a programme of technological development for the near future. An event held in the complex of the airport was attended by heads of Russian and international airline companies, representatives of transportation and travel agencies, analytics and exerts of consultancy companies, agents at missions and representatives of public institutions. The programme of airport�s technological improvement, performed within a joint programme of Domodedovo airport�s development, is aimed at passenger terminal expanding and equipping with modern communicative and life necessities means. The work being performed is aimed at expanding of the terminal. Additional 500 square kilometers in the centre of an air passenger terminal were created on the 31st of March, 2006. There will be 750 square km more in the centre of the terminal in the middle of April. So, Domodedovo airport will have 2000 square km of additional areas in the centre of the complex and two new exits to the landside by May. Materials and constructions used in building of the terminal will provide the passengers with a safe, comfortable and beautiful, in terms of design, terminal constructed according to the latest hi-tech innovations. The passenger terminal will be equipped with building management intelligence system, auto alarm system, luggage control system and so on. As for aviation safety programme, there has been implemented vehicles monitoring system based on �Potok� hardware-software complex; and a luggage multilevel control system is expected to be implemented as well. The innovations mentioned-above along with double telescopic passage-ways, automatic towing tractors, ambulance lifts and electro cars for disabled people late for flight define East Line Group position on making Domodedovo international airport not only one of the largest transportation centres in Europe, but also one of the most hi-tech developed airports in the world.
