The international Airport Domodedovo has been nominated in the category "Leading airports of Europe" along with such airports as Heathrow (Britain), Schiphol (Holland), International Airport of Barcelona (Spain), Charles de Gaulle (France), Barajas (Spain), Leonardo da Vinci (Italy). A poll in this category will soon start at www.worldtravelawards.com. The contest World Travel Awards has been held annually since 1993, aimed at admitting the achievements of the tourist market, and is considered one of the global contests in the tour industry. More than 200 tour operators usually participate in the polls to determine the nominated companies.
