Location of the Radisson SAS Lazurnaya Peak Hotel is truly unique – it stands on the mountainside of the picturesque Caucasus at a height of 535 meters above sea level. It is part of the mountain ski resort Krasnaya Polyana. It is on everyone’s lips now because in 2014 it will host the Winter Olympic Games along with the city of Sochi. Mountain ski trails in the neighborhood that have always been popular with skiers are now reequipped, and soon the Krasnaya Polyana Resort will become a fashionable and quite contemporary place. But tourists and businessmen are already welcome at the comfortable four-star Radisson SAS hotel.
The hotel complex consists of two monolithic buildings “The East” and “The West” (101 rooms and suites in all), the Family Cottage and 11 luxurious chalets. Room facilities include a bathtub or a shower cabin (in Casanova rooms there is a Jacuzzi in the center of the bedroom), central air conditioning, a minibar, satellite television, a telephone and a hair-drier. Of course, first category rooms and villas are more comfortable: they may be equipped with a suite of soft furniture, a videotape recorder, a sound system, a kitchen or tea and coffee facilities, a sauna, a fireplace.
List of the hotel’s services is comprehensive: three conference halls suitable for organization of large-scale events; free of charge fitness center offering an outdoor heated swimming pool with hydro massage and reverse flow, an indoor pool, a sauna and a Turkish bath, basketball and volleyball playgrounds, billiards and table tennis. You may also relax and revive in the SPA Center and in the Wellness Club. The Twin Peaks Restaurant serves breakfasts and dinners, and the unique country-style a la carte Ivan–da–Marya Restaurant offers dishes of Russian, Caucasian and European cuisine. Sport activities at the hotel (bowling, paintball, tennis, archery) and outside it (walking and horse-riding trips, rafting, fishing, and safari trips) will please anyone. In summer you may go to the beach in Sochi, and winter is just the time for skiing.
