Is it a priceless collectible or worthless Soviet kitsch? The Moscow Panorama goes up for auction.

It could make a great dollhouse, or it could be blown up in a low-budget action flick; it would also look good in the lair of a James Bond villain. Moscow -- or, more precisely, a 19-meter-wide diorama of the city center -- is now on sale at the very reasonable price of $380,000.

Security Ramped Up for Summit
Police helicopters are buzzing over the rooftops of St. Petersburg. Thousands of policemen are patrolling the city's streets and conducting document checks on trains and buses. The city's airport, seaport and even its largest cemetery are going to shut down for four days.

These are just some of the extraordinary security measures authorities are taking in advance of the Group of Eight summit, which kicks off Saturday in the country's northern capital and increases the risk of terrorist attack in the city.

Kremlin steps into tourist cyberspace with online excursion
Internet users can now visit the Kremlin at the click of a button after the launch of an online tour of the Russian president's official residence.

"Along with well-known sights of the Moscow Kremlin, the new online tour features sites that are part of the Russian president's Kremlin residence and have previously been closed to the public," the Kremlin press service said.
