The construction works are approaching the end now; the contiguous land improvement has been started. The whole length of the pedestrian area will amount to 277 meters, and its width will vary from 12 to 32 meters. The Kadashevskaya metro station of the Kalininskaya line will be opened in this district hereafter. The new interesting tourist route will connect the city center and Zamoskvorechye district. It will start from the pedestrian Patriarshy bridge built opposite the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, then it will continue to an overpass and to another bridge over Vodootvodny canal and will finish by a trade center on Yakimanskaya quay.
