Construction and installation works started at the West Tower of the Federation Tower complex that will result in appearance of the new luxurious Grand Hyatt Residences & Spa Hotel on the 60-62 floors of the building. The hotel is due to open in autumn. Another Hyatt International hotel will open in Ural in 2008. It will be the Hyatt Regency Yekaterinburg offering 300 guest rooms. The Grand Hyatt Residences & Spa will have 350 high-level guest rooms. There are also novel residential spa rooms that is to say purpose-built spa rooms offering a full range of wellness treatments (wet and dry in-room treatments, luxurious oversized soaking bathtubs, steam showers) as well as wireless connectivity, comfortable furniture for rest and business, etc. The idea of having all of their spa services in their private room is already popular with the guests of other Hyatt hotels. Works of the great jeweler Carl Faberge gave inspiration to designers of the new fashionable hotel. Every room will become a true piece of art. In addition to the hotel the Hyatt chain will manage long-stay apartments (160 square meters and above, panoramic views of Moscow), a swimming pool and a spa-center, restaurants, clubs, conference halls as well as the Life Style center on the –2nd and the –3rd floors. The Federation Tower complex is divided into two parts – East Tower (360 meters) and West Tower (243 meters). There will be hotel rooms, offices, shops, restaurants, and residences. Modern elevator at a speed of four meters per hour will convey you to the observation deck on the 89th floor.
