The 2nd National Festival "Musical Heart of Theatre" currently held in Moscow will finish with an awarding ceremony and a gala performance on March 1.
"Musical Heart of Theatre" is the only Russian theatre festival of the kind today. It presents the best domestic stage productions similar to the genre of musical. Fifteen performances by theatre companies from various cities of Russia are competing in the all-Russian festival.
The festival initiators see their main task in inculcating in the Russian audience a taste for musical shows.
