Weapon that killed the great Russian poet will be exhibited for the first time in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow. The State Pushkin Museum celebrating its 50th anniversary this year is also getting ready for the tragic date: February 10 will mark the 170 anniversary since Pushkin's duel. The central exhibit of the "Russian Duel" exposition will be the fatal weapon by means of which Alexander Pushkin was deadly wounded. Other exhibits are also associated with the great poet, his semi-legendary and real duels. For the first time the museum will be exhibiting a letter and an unknown portrait of Dantes, who killed Pushkin. The exhibition "Russian Duel" will be open from February 10 to May 10, 2007.
