The capital of Russia is especially noted for deficiency in hotels of moderate cost, but pronounced tendency to solve the problem has already begun to show. Within the next few years multiple three-star hotels should open in the city.
For example, a large economy-class hotel will open in Solntsevo, a remote district of the capital. There will be 420 rooms in the total area of 37 thousand square meters. Since most of guests of the new hotel will hardly use public conveyances to reach the city center (they will have to bus to get the nearest metro station Yugo-Zapadnaya), there will be parking areas near the hotel and underground designed for 115 cars.
The second hotel will also be built outside the Moscow Ring Road, in Chechersky proezd in South Butovo. It will have 420 rooms as well, a ground and an underground parking lots for 141 automobiles.
The third high-rise hotel is planned to appear in Zelenograd. Some of 420 guest rooms will be located on two underground floors, and the third underground floor will be designed for the guests’ vehicles (157 in all). Today there are only a few private hotels on lower floors of residential constructions in the newest district of Moscow.
The above-enumerated hotels will be built upon the standard project. The 25-storied concrete buildings will run up to 100 meters in height.
