Early next year Rezidor SAS Hotel Group, a well-known hotel operating company, will open the new Park Inn Hotel in the centre of Moscow. The room fund of the hotel will comprise 98 rooms and 20 suites. The hotel will be situated in the very heart of the Russian capital – in Bolshaya Polyanka street, in close proximity to the Kremlin and the Red Square and near the State Tretyakov Galery and the European Commission office. The new hotel will be accomplished in the manner of European boutique hotels and will occupy 5,500 sq.m. All the interiors will be decorated in the style of contemporary classics. There will be a restaurant and a stylish lounge bar on the first floor. The process of equipping the hotel will involve collaboration with the Uptrend company, the leading supplier of first-rate hotel furniture and equipment.
The signature features of the Park Inn brand include average price category and international level of services, as well as the bright, original corporative design with an easily recognizable colour scheme (red, green, yellow and dark blue). The Park Inn brand has been lately evolving at a break-neck speed, building hotels in the largest European capitals (London, Paris, Berlin, etc.) However, the company’s strategy is closely focused on the promotion of the hotels in less populous towns, where the demand for the middle-price hotels is quite high. As for Russia, the first hotel under this brand was built in Yekaterinburg in 2006.
Apart from the Park Inn brand, Rezidor Hotel Group is represented in the Russian market also by the Radisson SAS label. The company plans to build five more hotels in Russia in the very near future – two Park Inn hotels (in Ryazan and Voronezh) and three Radisson hotels.
