As Yekaterinburg is getting more and more popular amongst foreign tourists, waiters of the city cafes and restaurants start to improve their English knowledge for effective communication with foreign guests. 700 employees of public catering will take English classes to master the language for their work.
While one of the drawbacks of Russian tourist service is the lack of menus translated into English in restaurants, cafes and bars, Yekaterinburg already can boast more than 100 establishments which have menus available in English.
