On September 2 a multimedia show “The History of Moscow” took part straight on the walls of the Manezh State Exhibition Center in the context of the 860th celebration of Moscow. This event was one of the main surprises of the holiday. Such a show was arranged in the Central Administrative District of Moscow for the first time, before similar spectacles have been thrown at the Main building of the Moscow State University. During the show Muscovites and guest of the capital that came on Manezhnaya Square could take a close look at the history of Moscow. Slides with historical shots, views of streets, ancient churches and other sights of the city and also photographs of the modern capital were projected at the fronts of the building. Musical illustration of the show and dynamic highlight of the Mnaezh’s fronts that look at Mokhovaya Street, Manezhnaya square and Sapozhkovskaya square were thoroughly selected. The spectacle started at 8 pm and went on till 3 am. The show could be observed straight from the windows of the Le Royal Meridien National Hotel. The project “Museum of Moscow in the Open Air” was also timed to the 860th celebration of the city. In Gogolevsky Boulevard we could read biographies of all heads of Moscow from the 18th century to our time. In Pokrovsky Boulevard we could pick up information about the defense of Moscow in different epochs. In conclusion some data concerning new pedestrian tourist routes through the city and architectural monuments that form the Golden Ring of Moscow was displayed in Yauzsky Boulevard.
