On March 30, an International Gastronomic Salon “Culinary Olympus” was held in Saint-Petersburg. The Marco Polo Saint Petersburg Hotel’s chef got a gold medal and a diploma for the best dish. The hotel submitted for judges’ consideration the following dishes: seafood dish “Music of Water” and banquet dish “Taste of Sunny Italy”.
During one month the judges (famous professionals – Zinyat Akbashev, Ilya Lazerson, Serzh Feri, Anton Turchin) judged all the dishes by several characteristics – colour palette, taste, originality, design.
The opinion of the jury was unanimous – the judges considered the work of Alexander Denisov, chef of Marco Polo Saint Petersburg Hotel, to be the best.
