The Russian Railway Company announced that on December 28, 2007 a new train of superior quality will launched on the route from Moscow to Peking. This contemporary international train will be equipped on a level with high-class hotels. Every compartment will be supplied with a shower cabin, an air conditioner, television, and a DVD player. For the disabled passengers’ convenience certain coaches will be provided with special facilities. Carriages themselves possess improved servicing characteristics and electronic control systems.
Traveling in such a train will be less exhausting even in spite of its duration – six days. Railway authorities consider that this itinerary will be very much in demand because relations between Russia and China have been strengthening for the last few years, and contacts between citizens of two countries have become more frequent.
During the journey the train is scheduled to stop in Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulan Bator (the capital of Mongolia). Now incertion of Nizhniy Novgorod in the stand list is on the agenda.
