These days, on February 5-8, the Borodino business hotel (part of the services spectrum of the Borodino hotel complex) meets the foreign jazz ensemble «48th street», which will perform in the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatoire within the framework of the «Jazz: theme with variations» series. The musicians have come to Moscow on the personal invitation of Grigoriy Garanyan, a well-known saxophonist; these jazz concerts are held under his aegis. Among the participants are the Israeli pianist Leonid Ptashka, the American contrabass player Rick Caine, his fellow countryman Gordon Lane and the Finnish violin player Vitaliy Imereli. The Moscow Philharmonic Society annually organizes concerts gathering the very cream of contemporary Russian and foreign jazz community.
The Borodino business hotel was opened in 2007 and has already become one of the preferred places of work and rest of the creative people, businessmen, sportsmen and tourists.
