In 2011, a deluxe hotel will be opened in the very centre of the capital. The management will be executed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
The Mandarin Oriental, Moscow hotel will be located in the city downtown, in the centre of its business and cultural life – the Tverskaya street, amongst countless restaurants, boutiques, theatres and museums. The hotel will be situated in an authentic historic building of the 19th century that was initially built as a private mansion but in 1911 was transformed into a deluxe hotel. The facade decor and the unique interiors were created by the renowned Russian decorators and artists of the time. At present, the building is owned by the Unikor company.
The hotel is expected to dispose the largest room fund in Moscow comprising 237 rooms and suites. Aside from that, its infrastructure will also include several restaurants and bars, 2 ball rooms and an underground car park.
Apart from the hotel itself, the building will also house a large shopping area, as well as fitness and spa centres. All the objects will be incorporated into the Luxe multifunctional complex.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group encompasses 40 hotels located in Asia, America, Europe and Northern Africa. The aggregate room fund exceeds 10 000 rooms and suites.
