The eleventh international industrial and economic forum “Russia United” opened here on Wednesday. According to acting Minister of Industry and Energy Andrei Reus, “the forum “Russia United” is one of the most important events, where Russian and foreign commodity producers get in business contacts, representatives of science, industry, business and authorities meet.” “The exchange of views at the forum is becoming then a real economic policy that is forming in regions and Russia in general,” he emphasized. The city on the Volga River that brought together more than 1,500 participants from 43 Russian regions and 51 CIS and non-CIS countries becomes an industrial capital of Russia. Twenty-three collective expositions of research and industrial developments of the newest produce, innovative projects of 194 enterprises and companies from Russian regions, theme expositions of the Russian Atomic Energy Agency, RAO UES of Russia, the Russian Space Agency and the Post Service of Russia are presented at the forum. Despite the fact that the forum is called industrial and economic, the main idea of the forum is an idea of unification. President of the Assembly of Russia’s Peoples Ramazan Abdulatipov stressed the fact at the opening of the forum. According to him, it is necessary to consolidate “our multinational traditions as the foundations of society and unity of our motherland.” “This idea is one of the main strategic resources of Russia, and I am glad to note that it was reflected not only in the name, but also in the programme of the forum “Russia United”, during which the congress of Russia’s peoples and the festival of national cultures “Rainbow of Russia” will be held in Nizhny Novgorod,” he indicated. |
