Thanks to the «St Petersburg Hotels» company the new «Greenwich» mini-hotel has appeared in the Saint Petersburg downtown. At the end of February the business class hotel welcomed its first guests.
The hotel was designed in the classic British style, which is definitely its main distinctive feature. The «Greenwich» mini-hotel boasts location on a quiet street, not far from the Nevsky Avenue and the «Ploshchad vosstaniya» metro station, which is equally convenient for both tourists and those who comes to the city on business. According to Sergey Morev, director-general of the «St Petersburg Hotels» company, the idea of creating a Victorian-style hotel has occurred to him after a trip to London. The combination of genuine British traditions and modern European comfort is exactly what distinguishes the «Greenwich» mini-hotel from all the rest of Saint Petersburg hotels. According to the author’s idea, the guests are supposed to be carried from a St Petersburg lane to a London street with red telephone booth and street lamps. However, the booths will not be decorative objects only – the guests can use them for calling to any part of the world absolutely gratis.
The hotel disposes 8 guest rooms, both single and double ones. Thoroughly detailed interior of the rooms combines noble dark-brown and cream colours, which helps you relax after a fruitful and busy day. Here, as in most business class hotels, breakfast is included into the accommodation cost.
The hotel’s management hopes for the successful evolvement of the project, taking into account the tangible deficit of rooms in this hotel category.
