Four cultural and recreational zones – Izmailovskaya, Kuskovskaya, Losinoostrovskaya and Sokolnicheskaya – should be created by the end of 2011 in the east of the capital. It is projected to develop transport service in the district – street lighting and roads will be repaired, new guide-boards will be installed, and retro trains will be launched on the Small Railway Ring to convey tourists to the central part of Losiny Ostrov national park, for example. Other park areas and architectural ensembles of the district – Kuskovo, Sokolniki, Izmailovo – will also gain more popularity with travelers. For example, the Izmailovo Estate and the Kuskovo Estate are already entered in the tourist itinerary “Garland of Russian Estates”. Tourist areas “Kosino”, “Preobrazhenskoe-Semenovskoe”, “Stromynka”, “Terletskoe-ivanovskoe”, ‘”Cherkizovo” are in great request too – here you may see many historical sights and have a pleasant walk. Several new hotels of high European quality should be built in the east part of the city to attract travelers from Russia and foreign countries. The sightseeing tour throughout the district (from the Partizanskaya metro station to the Sokolniki metro station including visits to main estates, churches and other places of interest) will be created as well as 28 subject tours (pedestrian, by bus, by bicycle, riding a horse) – “Old Belief”, “Monasteries and Churches of the East District”, “Factory Outskirts of Old Moscow”, “Ancient Estates in the East of Moscow”, “Verdure Resources of Moscow” etc.
