Peter Ackroyd, famous English writer, poet and laureate of numerous literature awards has arrived in Moscow.
He is the author of over thirty works, including such well-known books as "The House of Doctor Dee", " The Last Testament of Oscar Wilde", London: The Biography, as well as novels dedicated to Thomas Chatterton, Charles Dickens, William Blake, and others.
Peter Ackroyd has been invited to Russia by a glossy magazine to travel by car around Russia and later to describe his impressions. The writer will set off from Moscow through Tver, Torzhok, Vyshniy Volochek, Staraya Russa and Pskov to Pushkin's Mikhailovskoye to relate his sensations of the beloved Russian classics of the 19th century to the present reality.
