This year the 8th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS will take place in Zhukovsky in Moscow region. One of the first-rate world aviation forums is held every two years. From August 21 till August 26 inclusive audience will be able to see the latest civil and military airplanes presented by different countries. The aircrafts won’t just stay on the ground; traditional aerobatics performed by the best Russian flight groups will also take place. For Russia it is a unique opportunity to show pre-production models of military and aviation equipment that cannot be demonstrated abroad as yet. Foreign participants from 34 countries will be able to negotiate profitable contracts and to establish contacts with partners.
The next International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS will be interesting not only for experts but for average people too. They will have a good chance to examine closely an engine of a real fighter or photograph demonstration flights of the Russian Knights or the Swifts performing aerobatics. This year more than 600.000 visitors are expected at the MAKS. In case of bad weather the show organizers promise to disperse rain clouds above Zhukovsky. The salon’s guests would better stay not in Zhukovsky itself but at one of the hotels in Moscow – at the EuroCity Hotel, at the Milan Hotel, at the Eridan Hotel or at the Salut Hotel.
