Travel industry all over the world including Russia is developing at a break-neck pace, opening up more and more brand-new directions most of which are largely unpredictable. Now that we have space tourism and travel engaging wild animals, the most active and advanced players of the travel market have come together on the introduction of something totally novel – alien tourism. Building up all necessary infrastructure (from roads to hotels, restaurants and shopping malls) is therefore high on the agenda.

So, in the very near future we are supposed to expect the active promotion of the following trends of the “anomalous” travel:

-          Emerging of special tourist objects (ufologic preserves, recreation areas, etc) in abnormal zones. Thus, in Krasnoyarsk region a rest area is to be built in the depth of taiga, in the close proximity to the spot that about a century ago suffered a meteorite landing.

-          Appearing of tours to the permanent abodes of the Snow Man, dinosaurs and other outlandish creatures.

But still – does this very sphere of tourism really have such boundless prospects? Are people really that anxious to get to know exterrestrial civilizations and found themselves in the epicenter of some incomprehensible phenomena? Most certainly, we have enough of those who hold a skeptical or critical position towards this sort of trips, but the cost for such tours fluctuates already from 20,000 to 60,000 rubles. And undoubtedly, this is not the pinnacle – there is an obvious tendency towards the growth of demand for this particular kind of services.
