In the near future a UFO museum and special tourist villages are expected to be opened in the Tolyatti city. Tolyatti has not been granted the status of the «anomalous» capital of Russia at haphazard – the city itself and the neighboring natural reserve Samarskaya Luka have long been venues for different abnormal phenomena, for instance, the appearance of mysterious flying objects and representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. A special hot line for those who have sighted UFOs and other abnormal objects has been opened in the city.
The new museum is supposed to be packed with photography and other evidence of the existence of the UFO spotted on the territory of the region, as well as scientific works. Local authorities are convinced that the new museum will perfectly fit the tourist concept of the city, whilst the local businessmen have promised to erect all the necessary infrastructure – hotels, theme shops, restaurants and bars, where one can comfortably await the appearance of the guests from other planets. A special tourist excursion program has already been worked out by the UFO specialists, too.
A similar project is under construction in the Perm region. Amidst the Ural taiga, by the Molebka village (center of the anomalous M-skiy triangle) a UFO reserve is to be built. The creators of the reserve have taken the famous American town Roswell as a pattern for their project. The area of 4 hectares will house the Monument to the Russian Alien, a UFO museum, an observatory, tourist cottages and an administration building with the dome resembling a «flying saucer». The aggregate inputs into the infrastructure will amount to 150 million rubles.
