The new Sokos Hotel Olympic Garden has opened in the centre of Saint Petersburg on the territory of the Olympia park. The investment bulk into the hotel’s construction has totaled 32 mln euro. The general contractor is the Swedish company JBG.
Sokos Hotel Olympic Garden disposes 348 comfortable rooms and suites, including 20 junior suites and 12 suites. The rooms are outfitted with all the necessary amenities and technical equipment including Wi-Fi Internet. At the guests’ disposal are a sauna, a sport gym and a car park for 30 cars. Apart from the impressive room fund, the hotel offers 11 multifunctional conference-halls packing cutting-edge audiovisual equipment and seating 16-350 people.
The hotel’s infrastructure also features the Fransmanni restaurant offering the cuisine of Provence and inviting the guests over for a business meeting or a friendly chat in the cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
Sokos Hotel Olympic Garden is the first hotel of the Sokos Hotels chain that the Finnish operator Sokotel is opening in Saint Petersburg this year. The second one – Sokos Hotel Vasilievsky – is to open on the Vasilievsy island in Autumn 2008. The company is planning to build 5 more Sokos hotels in the city in the next 6 years.
