Observation platform and one of the three restaurants in the Ostankinskaya TV-tower are fully restored. The opening of these tourist sites is planned for the end of this year. This time the floor of the observation platform will be made entirely of glass. As soon as the visitors leave the elevator, they step onto a transparent floor. It intensifies the feeling of an abyss underfoot. It is worth reminding that the platform is 348 meters above earth. The most sensitive visitors may use special handrails, set along the walls.
After the fire of 2000 the tower was reinforced by additional hawsers. There are also new elevators and the newest safety system in the Ostankinskaya TV-tower.
