This summer Moscow is supposed to welcome one more luxury hotel – Barvikha Hotel & Spa on Rublyovskoe highway. The details of this project were withheld for a long time and were revealed to the public only a very short time ago. The new deluxe hotel is part of the Barvikha Luxury Village and will be the first Russian spa-hotel uniting the best world authors and brands. The world-known master Antonio Citterio, author of Bvlgari Hotels in Milan and Bali collaborated on this project. He carried out 3 functions – those of an architect, an interior designer and a furniture designer. Every aspect to the hotel’s aristocratic interior is thoroughly planned: flawless proportions, lofty colour scheme varying from the colour of black caviar and wild rice to the hue of strong coffee and chocolate, and special respectable atmosphere.
The hotel features a huge spa-centre, which will work under the Henri Chenot label – one of the five leading spa brands in the world. Henri Chenot himself is the author of the unique system of invigoration and rejuvenation of the organism embracing the latest European workings and the ancient traditions of the Chinese medicine. The hotel will also feature 2 restaurants. One of them will be managed by the well-known Russian victualer Anatoly Komm, who will present a modern interpretation of the traditional Russian pret-a-porter cuisine. The Frenchman Regis Triguel known for his work for the most exquisite Moscow restaurants, such as A.V.E.N.U.E. in Barvikha Luxury Village, will be Barvikha Hotel’s chef.
The opening of Barvikha Hotel & Spa is set for the summer 2008 and will be one of the sign event for the hotel business this year.
