The Rus Hotel was built in 1980, when the Olympic games were held in Moscow. At the beginning the hotel’s name was “Solnechnaya”, and it’s symbol was a big yellow sun. Now it is a modern comfortable hotel located in the south of Moscow at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Varshavskoye shosse.
Nowadays there are 193 rooms of different categories, including 55 rooms of European class, a spacious conference hall “Podolsk” with the area of 280 square meters for 340 people with a podium, a screen and projection equipment. A conference room “Chekhov” with the area of 61 square meters can seat 50 people.
For the guests’ safety the rooms are equipped with modern fire protection system and electronic locks. A doubtless convenience of the hotel is proximity to the international airports Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and the CrocusExpo exhibition center.
