The Istra Holiday Hotel is located on the bank of the Istrinskoye reservoir 45 kilometers from Moscow (along Pyatnitskoye or Leningradskoye highways). All buildings of the hotel are made of north pine tree. The choice of the wooden construction concept is conditioned primarily by the natural environment – the hotel is located in the forest amid pine trees and birches. In order to preserve the harmony of the nature it was decided to use natural materials only and to retain the forest landscape to the maximum extent possible.
