The three-star Baykal hotel is located in the neighbourhood of the Botanicheskiy Sad metro station, not far from the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, the Museum of Cosmonautics, Ostankino television tower, Sheremetev Museum-Estate, Main Botanical Garden (Russian Academy of Science). The Sheremetyevo-2 airport is just a 30 minute ride away from the hotel. In 2008 the hotel underwent reconstruction and modernization.
